is an experimental video exploring the restless boundary between childhood dreams and adult reality. Created in collaboration with Angie Romero, a sonic artist, this work departs from the vibrant layers of Childhood Fever Dream and instead embraces a quiet, muted palette. With cool tones and subdued imagery, Insomnia reflects a more introspective view of adulthood, capturing the blurred line between waking life and dream, opening and closing, mine and yours. This video delves into how our perspectives shift as we navigate the complexities of growing up.

Estella Truong is a Vietnamese artist working in video, installation, and site-specific practices. Her work engages with questions of perception, environment, and lived experience, often drawing from her transnational background. She explores how meaning is shaped through spatial, cultural, and sensory conditions. She is currently pursuing a BA in Studio Art at Mount Holyoke College and a certificate in Arts Management at the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
